Addy is TWO

So I know this is over a month late...but I am seriously trying to catch up on this blog. My problem is my addiction to the one and only facebook. My computer time is whatever Addy's naptime is, so I just need to tame the addiction down...easier said than done, I'm afraid...

Anyway, my baby turned TWO on July 3rd...I can hardly stand it! She is growing so and just amazes Ryan and I on a daily basis. We are so blessed to have this little angel in our lives, and cannot imagine our lives without her in it!
She has started linking 4-5 words together overnight! Some of my favorites are "No, thank you, I full" and "Thank you very much." I can literally see her learning new things all the time! At her 2 year check-up, she was 23.7lbs and 34inches tall...tall and skinny, that's for sure! Isn't there an old wives tale saying that if you double kid's height at TWO, that's how tall they will be? So 5'8", WOW! I wonder when she'll pass me up...
Her party was on a Friday night, which was her actual birthday :) We enjoyed pizza, bubbles, balloons, and fellowship with family and friends. We are so blessed to have such wondeful people in our lives. I can hardly believe that it was TWO years ago that God choose us to raise this wonderful little girl!

That's right - ELMO! Addy loved watching me make her "Elmo cake" and was so excited to see it when it was all done! :) And on a side note, every time we go to Hobby Lobby, she says "Elmo cake" because that is where I bought the mold...amazing little memory she has!

She also got her birthday present from Ryan and I her birthday morning - a beautiful pink kitchen which she absolutely LOVES!

I think the favorite present for all the kiddos was the WowWowWubbzy...now I have never heard of this thing before...but it plays upbeat music and dances and flips and all kind of neat things...voted most popular present by all in attendence!

Addy also received a beautiful new pink and purple tricycle from Nana. She doesn't really understand the peddling concept, but she loves it nonetheless. She will sit down and say "push me, Momma!" I think this will be her most popular toy next summer for sure!

And here is the happy family TWO years later...you know, time is such a difficult concept for me. On one hand, I cannot believe Addy is TWO. This year has flown by so fast. However, on the other hand, it feels as though Addy has always been with us and I cannot imagine what in the world I did before she arrived! She keeps us on our toes and we look forward to watching her grow and see what God has planned for her life.
